Delete your PlayAbuja account
You can delete your account at any time, from the app, the website, or by emailing us.
In the app
- Open PlayAbuja and go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom of the page.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
On the website
Sign in, open your profile, and choose Delete my account.
By email
If you can't sign in, email support@playabuja.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm within 7 days.
Before you delete
To protect your money, we'll ask you to finish these first:
- Cancel or attend any upcoming bookings.
- Wait for any refund in progress to complete.
- Hosts: cancel or complete upcoming games and withdraw your wallet balance.
What we delete and what we keep
Deleted straight away: your name, email, phone number, profile photo, bio, sports, notification settings, device push tokens and all sign-in sessions.
Kept: payment, refund and payout records (amounts, dates and references) are kept for up to 6 years because Nigerian tax and anti-fraud rules require it. These records are no longer linked to your name or contact details. Ratings you left stay visible without your name.
